Is everything made of BSP or also meshes?
It's pretty much 99% BSP.
The only meshes in those 2 shots are the fans near the ceiling, and a couple of red glowing stuff inside the ramps.

Re: CTF-Blice (WIP)

Started working on this map again. No ETA though, it will be ready when's ready, although it's around at 60% right now. Also, the map already sits at 42MB, so if I manage to finish it, it will end up more like a tech demo than an actual playable map. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/RuoMMlXLqcAdRo7...

Re: -= What about a new mapping contest? =-

Depending on what the rules end up being and such, this may give me an excuse to actually finish the map I didn't finish for the last contest. Just a suggestion though: keep it simple, and as unrestrained as possible. We already tried limitations, themes and whatnot, and it ended up in a clusterfuck...

Re: My map made it into the official Fortnite game

Thank you everyone. :tu: I can imagine (a bit) this feels like a nice, maybe huge achievement! A bit sad it's only there for a week right, but might return at some events? It's only for a week, so that everyone has the opportunity to see their own featured, and yeah, it feels quite good to have some...

My map made it into the official Fortnite game

A few months ago I made something like a small map in Fortnite, which I called Magmatic Metallurgy , and this week it finally made into the main game as the new The Block POI in the main Fortnite Battle Royale map: https://www.reddit.com/r/FortNiteBR/comments/cszzuj/my_block_magmatic_metallurgy_made...

Re: What ever happened to....?

Blice is currently on hold, but not forgotten. I was working so heavily in that map, that it turned into a chore at the time, so I took a break from it and used my free time for other type of content for another game (namely a video, live wallpapers and a map, the latter which may or may not make it...

Re: Fortnite forums

I didn't even know they were retiring the forums, but it's understandable actually, since barely anyone used them relative to the other channels, namely Reddit for example: https://reddit.com/r/fortnitebr for which I have contributed a bit myself. Whenever I had to search for something and ended up ...

Re: NW3 Ultra Gore SSE

All my sources, including this one, are here: https://ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5638 Namely this one is one of the last ones in the list: http://www.mediafire.com/download/7iexip6356gcs8m/NWUltraGoreSSEb_SRC.rar However, in order to compile any NW3-based mod, you will need a "hacked" version of ...

Re: NW3 Ultra Gore SSE

Yeah, got it, now I understand what happened, thanks. :tu: And also, sorry, this is indeed on me, I messed up the package on release, and didn't notice this problem. After redownloading my own package, I noticed that NWUltraGoreSSE.ini was indeed the intended configuration file, however in the code ...

Re: NW3 Ultra Gore SSE

Yes, NWConfig.ini is the configuration file for that, even because this mod was originally part of NW3, which has the same file, when the final version of NW3 was under development, hence the SSE name (SSE = Special Standalone Edition). Although if I did it all over again, I would do things very dif...

Re: NW3 Ultra Gore SSE

That's weird. I just tried it myself, not the exact test that you made, I just changed the blood from the bots from RED to GREEN and others in the ini file alone, and tried with and without double quotes, and it always worked fine. UT is supposed to accept both formats for names afaik, I don't remem...

Re: UT99 Server Query

There's a big misunderstanding going on here on what this actually is... I just downloaded this just to fully understand what's in there, although the topic description seems to be clear enough, and it seems to be just a standalone .exe file as expected, without any UT packages of any kind, meaning ...

Re: NW3 Ultra Gore SSE

Well, although there's literally a folder that I have included called Help, with pdf files in it, many players will still not look into it since they don't know nor do they care into looking at the folders themselves to install or make a mod work, especially given that the vast majority of mods do n...

Re: Randering video via UnrealScript

I am not sure what exactly you're asking here, but the only way I imagine that you would be able to render real video in UT would be to actually implement it at the rendering level afaik, and you would need to make the full implementation yourself, not of the codecs themselves of course, but using t...

Re: Dealing with a persistent cheater

I was about to not say anything at all, but given the activity (and kind of) this topic I will say the following: I still defend complementary server-side solutions, by checking the behavior of players rather than which cheat are they running in their machine. Keep in mind that you cannot prevent ch...
