I recommend completely avoiding a headset altogether (they're essentially cheap headphones and a cheap mic wired together and sold for a high price) and instead just grabbing a microphone that you can use with your speakers. I was told it's possible to use this to force mutators into the singleplayer ladder, but I'm confused as to how to actually do it. Can somebody please help me out with this? I'm really trying to get Nali Weapons 3 Gore Standalone to work in singleplayer.

Actually, Duke Nukem Forever is NOT using the Unreal Engine 3, but a HEAVILY modified Unreal Engine 2.5. Also (I think it's already been posted on here) also there is a Gearbox approved free remake in the works by a group of fans working with the UDK.
