Sounds like the game type from Quake3 Arena... Red Rover. Two teams and every killed team member spawns as the opposite team member. But there is no going back if you frag an opponent. I explain what I meant:
Mr Loathsome used the Pulse Rifle for his new Laser Rifle and I created the texture for the weapon and ammo. Now it's a totally new weapon, even so it uses the Pulse model.

Very interesting. But you should use a different weapon model and a new skin and maybe box meshes instead of lens flares to make it more visible.

is it possible to make the Carroteer's first person mesh a bit smaller? Same goes for the Toasterminator. The Toastenator is that big on purpose because it's so powerful you need a little bit of a disadvantage. But anyway, I can't change it because I'm not a coder or modeller and the developer team...
