Re: Fix for maps with deleted brushes

All right, let's keep having a bit of fun around. Reading again first post and doing the reversal, setting up bDeleteMe True using this way (like you can do with editing ammo inside map) : ConsoleCommand <set brush bDeleteMe True> or <set Brush bDeleteMe 1> - in a normal map. Do you now wanna know m...

Re: An idea for forcing PathNode connections.

Apology for a half Off-Topic, but speaking about whatever connections (not moved nodes here) this is what I could do in August 2015, some of links were not connected as I wanted but I still could figure operational routes to "RememberSpot" using "ShowPath" - I did not have "...

Re: Fix for maps with deleted brushes

As Sector said the file size of a map is smaller (about 25% at one example here) if you delete the brushes and store the map so there is significant missing something. Good to see that I do not talk dumb things 90% as nice social people are claiming. Perhaps someone can speak about a constructive s...

Re: XC_Engine megathread

Good luck to you too - if you can deal with those INI-s. You can save another time of yours by not sending me any PM, okay ? I don't need to read your fascinating replies after all.

Re: Fix for maps with deleted brushes

Yay, challenge accepted... but I cannot be sure if exist any brush in Editor with bDeleteMe because I can iterate and recover them or consolecommand-ing them, but I did not get any response. GarbageCollector did its job somehow ? Edit : Yeah, a sample: MH-Egyptica - opening map in NotePad++ exported...

Re: XC_Engine megathread

Mover and other tweaks are probably described here - and unfortunately I've learned them at first reading... https://ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=12687&start=0#p104588 then another https://ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=13111&p=110057&hilit=bFixMoverTimeMP#p110057 in spoiler for ...

Re: XC_Engine megathread

I am done with the fact how feedback is expected here and not welcomed, you 2 man project are really, really crazy. Yeah, I have figured that feedback written with 150 letter size - very constructive - thanks... I did not claim that I'm normal :noidea , perhaps a bit crazy but... anyway... it looks...

Re: XC_Engine megathread

Eh... the most of boolean values are False because they do not even exist, if values are False (none) then figuring no changes in functionality it's very logic. Edit ::: Else if they are all True (did not check all details right now) you might need to disable bFixMoverTimeMP because this one might c...

Re: XC_Engine megathread

But I would like to see your XC_Engine.ini file how does it looks like... But it seems XC project takes the approach of re-editing all maps which gives errors, aint that unlogical, and very very time consuming? You might not understand how many maps I tested and wasted time with them - without XC_En...

Re: XC_Engine megathread

Ive degraded from XCGE v22 to v19. Already mentioned requirements for fine tuning at V22. What I have: Servers v22 - client V21 (V22 do seems to stuck my client). Curious if you can ''decently'' answer on that, without any jibberish. I think are explained lasts mover tweaks which can disabled in XC...

Re: XC_Engine megathread

You are working for the players that play offline against bots ? Nope, XC prevented kills through movers ON-LINE. I get the point, you did not read anything from XC document - assuming you don't like neither Higor's english. If you like original damage through mover ON-LINE - an UT bug after all - ...

Re: XC_Engine megathread

And iam expected to sitdown with you to fix every map ? Umm... nope, some of them are just bug-free - not causing issues, others are... jerky in a way of saying based on various "methods" which I think even Barbie has described a bunch of times - MH is a good sample of a mountain of crap ...

iSenSe wrote:You expect me to sit down with a social dumb ass like you ?

How old are you, btw, and what exactly can you do for this game ? No, you don't have to sit down, I did not ask that...
Writing big letters ? Because ? Is this a "social" skill ?

Re: XC_Engine megathread

In a lot of posts I mentioned how hard is to build a server and sorting maps/mods - mindless releases, mindless hosting - maybe you will understand what I was trying to say. But... if you want we can start a bit of UScript "decryption" as long as I'm willing to help people to open eyes at ...
