Any upgrade or improvements about using maps from unreal 227 without using unreal's stock weapon to be using the ut goty ones instead? Not all unreal 227 maps supports weapon/tems switching inside ut goty to ut goty weapons it's easier to fix tournament player's broken fire functionality for weapon...

I absolutely do not approve of this topic. All obfuscating does is hurt peoples progression in programming. You'll never learn how something is performed, only that some magic box does it. You just need to change the package flags. this does not effect the GUID and can't cause a version mismatch.

Considering that U1's base mutator is Engine.Mutator.. BaseMutator is just called first for everything, that's it. Mutator isn't even referenced in native code except that it is defined.

I know gizzy and these are skeletal meshes. They would only work for 227 right now since they're not subclasses of TournamentWeapon, and they UT would either need a mod that changes ServerMove in playerpawn or someone would have to recode the weapon classes to be subclasses of TournamentWeapon. edit...

The vast majority of gametypes probably don't change the basemutator. I think for all intents and purposes, replacing the base mutator is safe. There may be one or two gametypes where that's not the case, but chances are they're someone's personal gametype. At the very least Loathsome, I'd recommend...

Unreal's base mutator is Mutator, which does nothing at all. The only reason DMMutator has any code is to prevent the non working U1 weapons, i'm sure.
