Re: UT99 is almost dead

Nope, I love this game, it's one of my favorites games ever, but it's almost unplayable nowadays due to low playerbase mixed with too many aimbotters (and the servers's admins refuse to remove them), so I have nowhere to go, and that means the game is dead / almost dead. I still wish you luck with ...

Re: UT99 is almost dead

The intention of my post was not to write about every single player, but only about players playing at the same time at the highest peak, for simplicity, nor was the intention to calculate stats with 1% accuracy, nor was to mention about Discords...however you are free to do so if you need, however...

Auction it on Ebay with a starting price that will satisfy you and see the traffic that flows around it.

Re: ◄► Unreal Tournament v469a Patch Release ◄►

Confirming this way what I told before: ONLY for new hardware - an old game requiring a new machine - lol deal. My post doesn't confirm anything....that's my computer and it runs it. A single sample proves nothing. The game also runs fine on my 2013 4770k (tested with both the onboard graphics and ...

Re: ◄► Unreal Tournament v469a Patch Release ◄►

Well, I can't say I've done 'extensive' testing yet, but so far, all is well. I dropped the patch into my 20 year-old install (I've been migrating the same installation folder across many, many PC builds over the years), replaced the files it wanted to, fired it up and yeah...all went well. Hardware...

Re: UT merch?

I do have merch, but only that which was graciously given to me by Flak as a congrats for my collection. She sent me Thundercrash sunglasses, a UT lanyard, Unreal logo stickers (the stylized "U") and one of the new UT T-shirts, the one with the old-school logo on it, not the red/blue team shirts. An...

Re: Map packs!

Yep, like I said, mine is a mirror taken at an unspecified time, before RB was being used to host UT4 - the new UT - files (I think the new UT was under way in 2015). Also, if I'm not mistaken, the site hosted the BU library as well, coming in at about 130GB. Dunno. I got what I got. :)

Re: Map packs!

I used 7zip to archive these things and that archive has been shared before without issue (the same links). The Archives are in a series, so afaik, they all need to be downloaded and then extracted from the first 001 archive (I'm not sure that they can be individually extracted). Maybe try that and ...

Re: Map packs!

Downloaded those 50GB. Now I have to sort good things. For the rest I think it's a waste of space if you aren't sure about integrity of archives - also I'm not sure if I can get so much space... Else... some of those "mappacks" have uz2 files - those are NOT UT'99. Well, they weren't uploaded only ...

All map packs (that I have/know of) in one file (including the 2019 works):

Map packs!

Hey everyone. Well, due to my lame-ness regarding this year’s contest and not coming up with a prize (and long absence, irl stuff), I wanted to do something for the community. So, I put together a few files that might be (hopefully) interesting or useful to some. First, all of my UT map packs of whi...

Thanks for the replies guys. @evilgrins: While everyone likes puppies, I think getting a dead one in the mail might be problematic. ;) @Renegade: Steam gift cards are always very useful, but.....it's seems like giving someone money for their birthday...it screams "I had no better ideas!". But, a goo...
