Thanks for the replies guys. @evilgrins: While everyone likes puppies, I think getting a dead one in the mail might be problematic. ;) @Renegade: Steam gift cards are always very useful, but.....it's seems like giving someone money for their birthday...it screams "I had no better ideas!". But, a goo...

Re: ==[ The 20th Anniversary Mapping Contest - 20AC ]==
Well folks, crisis! I can't get anymore big box UTs for prizes.
Not sure what to do. I can get jewel editions of UT99, UT3 (physical and Steam code) and UT 2004. Maybe a Steam code for UT GOTY? I can do that.
Thoughts? I'm actually feeling kinda stressed about this...

Exciting stuff!
Well, I have no more UT big boxes, but I'm on the hunt for more...for prizes!! I'll have something for the winner, no worries. I'll announce it as soon as I can.

Love the new look @shade! Nice work. And I think we've reached the monthly goal now.

I also had never met or interacted directly with him, but his work is unavoidable, such that it was so extensive.

Re: UnrealArchive.org
Great work @Shrimp but one thing: where does one get the "unreal tool" for mirroring? It is mentioned time and time again on the site, but seems to be a ghost. Also, any Windows environment support planned for the tool? I'd think the archive would be more widely mirrored if this were to happen.

Re: Epic Games adquires Psyonix
Equating every dollar Epic spends to the ending of development of UT is misguided. Their focus is Fortnite and the Epic Games Store and they have every right and incentive to do this, despite how we feel about the frozen state of UT. I'm no apologist; if you read some of my posts on the official for...

The story also explains why the new UT was abandoned. It now seems quite obvious that the team working on it - all senior members of Epic - were asked to put their efforts into Fortnite. Tim Sweeney has turned into a very disappointing old man.

A friend would help you move a sofa but a best friend would help you move a body.
The idea being that a best friend is one who would do anything for you without question.

Thanks OjitroC....a gentleman for sure.
I will also admit that my accountability settings are at 'Ultra'; too many years in academia, I suppose.

Well, I won't edit it simply because you're right and it should stand that I do have a tendency to come across that way. Leo actually called me on that once and I haven't forgotten it. I will apologize here and now, as that really isn't the way I meant it. It's not easy to talk of these kinds of thi...
