Re: Collab Mapping #01 Phase 1/3

Don't kill me Myth, I mentioned in my previous post that I switched my room to branch off the two exits in Whitey's room on the pic you last posted.
It's a corner room with exits pointing towards papercoffees room and the other exit in Whitey's. Screenshots tonight. Promise.

Re: Collab Mapping #01 Phase 1/3

Ok. I ended up using the other two exits of Whitey's room and not the one I specified in order to avoid possible collision with PapersCoffee's addition. I made the room similar to Myth's 2nd in that it's sort of a "corner/roundabout" room so someone can start building the other way and complete the ...

Re: What is an .rar file?

Unlike Winrar, this is free to use. Winrar is free to use. After a 40 day trial it prompts you to "remove it from your computer." But you can still use it as long as you like. Exactly. Rarzilla is freeware, winrar just has a trial available. Yes, but most trials/shareware become defunct/inoperable ...

I don't know if any of you are OK Go fans, but this video (like most of theirs) is worth a view. Re: Collab Mapping #01 Phase 1/3

Elevators, Ramps, Jump Pads. You could always use portals/teleporters. I'm putting one in my room. I'll post pics later today with options. I'm at school. Oh, and for the map music: http://modarchive.org/ I've literally spent hours sifting through stuff on that site. And all files are easily convert...

Re: Collab Mapping #01 Phase 1/3

BTW: I think papercoffee might have a small problem now with his part, since he has to "calculate" Gen`s map part as well. I just think from now on its a little bit tricky. Yes I was going to say something along those lines. Gen's "replace me" area is 96uu away from one of Myth's and on different l...

Re: UED 2.0 Extra Buttons

The one on the bottom left is useful. It creates a frame/border/trim for quadrilaterals.
It's easier than making four seperate brushes and vertex editing the corners.
And the Torus one is ok too if you need bending pipes and aren't handy with an external 3d modelling program.

Re: MAPS - the best maps made by community

Favorite Maps? There are always the classics by DavidM, Platinum and Tonnberry. [1on1 lego, Revenge, Alpu] Then there's the more avant-garde mapping styles of Swanky and Kami. [Dipolarity, SiberiaN23] However, I think the two most overlooked mappers would be Colin "Lruce Bee" Murphy http://www.mapra...
