Re: Unreal2 monsters into ut2004

UT2004 and Unreal 2 have completely different AI systems. All I really did was use VendorX's script to get the models in UT2004 and then use invasion monster code as a base, so it wasn't very hard. Porting Unreal 2's AI would be really tough, though. To answer your question on USP, I won't be conver...

Re: Console HUD

Nope, the HUDs use mutators that have to be enabled by the host. I think the crosshairs will work online, though.

Console HUD

Thanks to GEx for testing! This small pack includes the Dreamcast and Playstation 2 HUDs for Unreal Tournament. They are not completely accurate (I couldn't get the font to work properly), but they're pretty close. A set of crosshairs are also included. Screenshot: http://media.moddb.com/cache/image...

Re: Metal Guard skin, UT99 PS2

Edit: Hey AlCapowned, I'd be willing to try to play as Metal Guard in campaign (mind-change, I know). Do you have more in-depth directions for editing or is that enough? What you would need to do is open the Unreal Editor, go to the actor class browser, and look for the Info class under the Actor c...

Re: Metal Guard skin, UT99 PS2

The only way I know to play as the Metal Guard in the campaign is to edit one of the RatedTeamInfo classes and save Botpack (you would have to make a backup first). Another problem is that the Metal Guard technically isn't a team (so they don't have any symbol or descriptions of their own), and unle...

Removing original HUD through mutator?

Is it possible to remove the original HUD (or at least parts of it) through a mutator? I have a mutator that uses PostRender to show the HUD from the console version of UT, but the original HUD still appears. If players disable their HUD through the options menu, both the original and console HUDs d...

Horizontal health bars?

I'm working on a HUD that is similar to those from the console versions of UT. Everything is going well for the most part, but there are a few things I can't figure out at all: 1. How to replace the health and shield indicators with bars instead of using numbers 2. How to change the bars' colors whe...

Re: Beta skins for PS2 characters

These are meant for the PS2 characters, but I included entries for the PC characters as well. The PurpleBabe and Raven skins have team skins, unlike the originals. Those are probably the only differences.

Go ahead, that's fine.

I didn't really make these skins, I just modified Epic's skins to add team colors.

I can see them. Are they not appearing for you? They are pretty big, so they might be taking a while to load.
