Re: My first UT CD

Congrats noccer! Welcome to the old-fashioned club! Don't let it get away from you though...it is an illness that knows no limits. :) TU comes in a number of flavors: big/thick, big/thinner (NA/EU) and a DVD case. Re: Honoured Members and Community Supporters

I just wanted to shout out to Chamberly for the big donos this year. I logged in just now, feeling guilty for my lack of support so far this year and saw the 2018 numbers are looking good. I'm not strapped, but unexpected costs have arisen this year and am behind, so I'll be putting more into the po...

Re: The AWESOME Mapping Contest

I've known a lot of pretty maps that play horribly, so screenshots are only a very small part of a map's potential.

Re: The AWESOME Mapping Contest

Well, the 'thing' for the prize - one of them anyhow - will be, as always, a new Korean big box edition of UT. I will sort through my collection and see if I have anything else or maybe something different to offer, but for now, that's it. I will update in a day or two if I can find anything new. Al...

Re: new videocard release

RTX in its infancy, no games for a while (and the early ones always kinda suck; remember Hair Works?), a small speed gain in current titles and a die shrink literally around the corner.

Pass on this generation.

Re: An appeal for files

Not sure if it's a question of money darksonny, but if it is, then I'll do what I can as well in that area.

I am behind on my UT99.org support, so that's a priority for me. :)

Re: An appeal for files

Count me in Jack. I am just wondering exactly what files you are looking for? It sounds like Unreal and UT, both of which I have a lot of stuff which I'm happy to upload. I have files from across the series, so if those are also desired...? Concerns: First, is there a limit on space? Second, do I ne...

Re: Collection updates...

Hey Carbon, I would very much like to know what version is this UT2003: And where can I get it? As most know, I have a specific place in my heart for UT2003 and I've never seen any cover art for it other than the classic one, with Sapphire, Malcolm holding a flag and the alien with a rocket launche...

Re: Collection updates...

Sorry to bump, but... Just in, Unreal from Japan! I have longed for this one for a while and now it's here! Good shape..a real treat. https://i.imgur.com/pMx4vUI.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Y6fVIlH.jpg I haven't opened the CD yet (my CD-ROM isn't connected) though...probably nothing remarkable. https://...

Re: Extreme dry season in Europe

That's awesome! Your first time in SK? Sure, I'm going to Japan over a night next weekend. After that I planned to travel from Busan to Daegu then to Seoul to meet up some new friends. Not sure when that will happen though. Otherwise you can just jump on a KTX train and get down to Busan. Well, I'v...

Re: Extreme dry season in Europe

Right now I'm sitting on the couch... with a beer, in front of the TV.. somewhere South (Busan) in South Korea. I am from Sweden though, and according to my relatives it was super hot and super dry. Now apparently it's cooled down (according to google) to around 26C! The humidity is definitely not ...

Re: Extreme dry season in Europe

40°C yesterday here in Seoul. Haven't had any meaningful rain in a couple of weeks, but the rainy season (most of July) did give us 3 weeks of rain prior.

Crazy days.
