Beautiful map! ALSO HUTP's BACKGROUND at the moment!
Thanks both.

Do you have an upload for the VN version please? And what's the difference between versions?

Looking for a UT map - cabin by a lake

I saw this thread on Reddit where somebody is looking for a UT map: https://www.reddit.com/r/unrealtournament/comments/9mcf16/tomt_original_ut_map_cabin_by_a_lake/ They say: It was a very large outdoor DM map i think. There was a small cabin on one end and a large lake in the middle with a thermal v...

Anyone know Robert "YoMammy" Wey, mapper/TexAlign2 author?

I'm trying to get in touch with Robert "YoMammy" Wey, an old mapper and UScripter; author of "TexAlign", "TexAlign2", "PathLogic" tools.

I'm unable to find contact details for him anywhere.

I want to ask for the source code to TexAlign.

Anyone know him or know people who would?

Thanks

It's specific to BT (BunnyTrack) maps but here is my shameless plug for our BT mapping contest:

Re: Backup/Archival of UT99.org

already done http://web.archive.org/web/*/ut99.org although it doesn't crawl all the pages. Do you know which pages it doesn't crawl (and why)? It would be great to get a community-accessible backup of the entire forum somewhere, in case the worst should happen. Don't want to end up like https://wi...

Backup/Archival of UT99.org

After seeing this thread on Reddit today, I'm curious to ask if UT99.org has a frequent backup/archival process in place? There is so much valuable information on this forum; if it should become unavailable for whatever reason, is that information stored somewhere accessible to those who need it in ...

Re: Disable death camera spins

usually press F5 will stop it. That's the keybind for switching your view to any other players' view... though then you gotta get back to your own view from repeated pressings. On that note, a very simple mod/mutator will allow you to bind a "reset view" key to get back to your own view with a sing...

Re: 1920x1080 resolution xhair issues ... -_- ...

Crosshair scaling at high resolutions is just plain screwed in UT. A solution will depend on the servers you play on. If the server uses ACE Anticheat, you can perform `mutate ace crosshairscale 1` in the UT console. On the bunnytrack.net servers, use `mutate ch_scale 1`. For single player games, or...

Re: Can you bind a key to disabile Dodging online?

This is allowed on BunnyTrack.net servers. I don't consider it cheating since it's something you can change via the menu.

... if you like to try the portalgun, heres a download link I thought I would just try this out and so tried summoning it in-game; however I got an error message 'Can't find SkeletalMesh BTPortalGun_beta_v1.v_portalgun'. You can play OwYeaW's test map on any of the BunnyTrack.net servers: UK1: 176....

Re: X-Vehicles (demo)

Ferali, the mod looks truly incredible and I'm consistently amazed at what you're able to achieve in UT99. Have you ever considered writing a compendium or knowledgebase about UScript, weapon design, etc.? I know it's a huge ask, but I always feel a little bit sad when I see so much skill and knowle...

Re: Is IpDrv (UBrowserHTTPClient) meant to cache DNS respons

Thanks, both. It must be my server's ISP, because when I added the target hostname and IP to my local hosts file (/etc/hosts in the case of Linux), UT's HTTP requests started responding instantly.

Is IpDrv (UBrowserHTTPClient) meant to cache DNS responses?

Recently my in-game calls using the UBrowserHTTPClient Browse() function have been incredibly slow to respond (5+ seconds). By looking at the server log, I discovered this is because it keeps resolving the domain name every time a request is made. This only started happening a few weeks ago, with no...
