[SOLVED] Assertion failed: !Reader.AtEnd() from redirect

I get the following error when downloading a few (not all) compressed files from my redirect server: https://i.imgur.com/aDjUQGf.jpg The file downloads in UT to 100%, but then UT crashes with the error. I understand this error is normally related to a corrupt .uz file, however I have already tried: ...

Re: NewNet for BunnyTrack?

My own perception of it is that it's a rather closed down mod on its own, meaning that it's mostly focused in PvP matches with just normal weapons and nothing more, and doesn't really play well with other mods at all (last I checked, it often needed to have that kind of support explicitly added for...

Re: XC_Engine [20] - XC_Core [7b] - XC_IpDrv

I remember having a similar issue on BT-Rapture, where you couldn't "cheat" the second-to-last obstacle with XC_Engine (it wouldn't let you walk/flip ABOVE the recessed mover, where as the default game would let you get away with these shenanigans). But it was mitigated by adjusting the [XC_Engine....

Is that better for performance than randomly spawning stuff?

NewNet for BunnyTrack?

Recently I have tried using NewNet on my UT BunnyTrack server and it seems to work quite well, however several people have told me that it is not suitable to use with BT on some maps. Can anyone clarify why this is? I would like to work on developing a version of NewNet which is compatible with BT m...

Re: XC_Engine [20] - XC_Core [7b] - XC_IpDrv

Maybe this is a known bug but when I use XC_Engine on my BunnyTrack server, we are seeing a bug with players passing through some movers without being crushed or killed.

Example: very first obstacle on CTF-BT-SubtleFallout.unr.

Is this similar to the PrecipitationGenerator actor? Or does it do something different?

Re: "Trim tool" for creating borders - does it exist?

I think you may be talking about this that I just saw... https://ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12467 I saw that thread and that's what prompted me to create this thread. The way it was described to me, the "trim tool" would allow you to select a brush and would automatically build a "border" brush a...

"Trim tool" for creating borders - does it exist?

A few players have mentioned that a "trim tool" for UnrealEd exists for creating borders/trim around an existing brush.

Does this exist, or are they getting confused with something else?

Re: I can't get my game to work no matter what I do

My Unreal Tournament directory path has spaces in it and it works just fine. However I don't trust the Steam version and never will. @Westdog01 I suggest you get a refund from Steam and either purchase the game (DRM-free) from https://www.gog.com/game/unreal_tournament_goty or download it from some ...

[Release] Script which auto-compiles, uploads, & restarts UT

I was getting tired of manually running UMake.exe, uploading the new .u file via SFTP to a server, restarting the server, launching UT client, etc. So I automated it all with a simple shell script. Now when I make changes to a mod, I use a single hotkey to execute this script and a couple of seconds...

Re: irc mods for unreal

Sorry to raise an old thread, but I'm looking for the same type of mod. Something which allows two-way communication between UT and an external source (e.g. IRC). I remember this existed nearly a decade ago when players and admins could communicate via IRC and in-game chat.

Any ideas please?

Re: BunnyTrack.net BT Mapping Contest coming soon (€200+ pri

any mods I need installed or will this be compatible for Vanilla? Nope, BT maps are made just like regular instagib CTF maps... with obstacles. However, usually they are "doubled" which means they contain two copies of the full map - one specific to each team. This allows each team to "race" each o...

Re: BunnyTrack.net BT Mapping Contest coming soon (€200+ pri

I don't have the patience for jumping maps BunnyTrack is so much more than jumping, though. I wish people could see some of the insanely high quality maps which have been produced over the years. The obstacles are extremely complex and diverse. Here are some videos to illustrate that it's not just ...

BunnyTrack.net BT Mapping Contest coming soon (€200+ prizes)

Hello all In the coming weeks, BunnyTrack.net will be launching our first BT mapping contest. It's open to absolutely everybody of any skill level who would like to submit a BT map. The details have still to be decided, but we know there will be at least 200 Euros worth of cash prizes to be won (fun...
