About this, a mutator (Udoom beta version) can be used instead of Stuffswapper if necessary...

Downgrade to version 436. Thank you Higor, it worked downgrading to 436! In my post above I could not imagine that version number was the problem... but in fact it was the only difference between my two installations. So it means version 451 has irretrievably bugs also regarding this graphic aspect...

It gets odder and odder - just tried it again and DAWN does appear now in the custom maps menu - still can't start it though!! I have to revise my "'One Day' runs fine for me in UT using Oldskool Amp'd" comment - that was yesterday! Today I get the "object Level none. My level not found" error! Yes, for "Unreal vs Doom" it's the solution of course, but "One Day" should work in UT, as OjitroC confirmed, and I'd like to understand why it doesn't.

(1) The map won't run in UT99, only in Unreal. (3) 'One Day' runs fine for me in UT using Oldskool Amp'd - shows up in the map pack and in the custom map lists and runs fine with no errors. Dawn.unr runs OK and the next map starts up OK as well - didn't go any further. Can't really help with your p...
