Hello everyone!
I would like to present you the new UT Server Browser on our platform.
It comes in a familiar shape. Pretty cool, huh?
https://ut99.org/servers
The Server Browser was coded and provided by Darkelarious from 333networks. A big thank you!
It receives the data via the JSON API provided by the 333networks : https://333networks.com/json
You also find links in the header area.
If you have any issues or feedback, feel free to post here.

Re: Introducing the UT Server Browser: ut99.org/servers
Sadly no wildcards for game type seem to be used: e.g. "MonsterhuntFix" or "MonsterhuntSB" are not listed.

Re: Introducing the UT Server Browser: ut99.org/servers
Doesn't work in my browser - probably because it is old - the UT Server Browser shows up OK but it is not populated with anything.
As a matter of interest, are all of the 460-odd servers that are shown public? XBrowser suggest that about 380 of the 460 are public and the remainder are private/locked.

Firefox - last update several years ago - on a Mac - so it's pretty old.

It makes a cross-domain request to https://333networks.com/, if you're running an extension like uMatrix or other remote Javascript blocking things, it may be blocking it?

It's nice, but the annoying thing is, showing up all those fucking fake servers with the fake players. Isn't it possible to disable that? (Like there and in the game also)

Re: Introducing the UT Server Browser: ut99.org/servers
A couple of other observations :
1) Even on servers that are explicitly private, Requires Password is reported as Disabled (when that is obviously not the case);
2) For individual servers it does not appear possible to use the Name, Frags, Ping etc tabs to sort from highest to lowest - clicking on the tab header has no effect (unlike with the in-game UBrowser or XBrowser).
@Shrimp - thanks - worked out that NoScript was blocking something - now works OK if I allow all the right 'stuff'.

Re: Introducing the UT Server Browser: ut99.org/servers
This is maybe an injected issue. By example XC_MonsterHunt is listed as MonsterHunt due to some classes tweaks...
Code: Select all
class XC_MonsterHunt expands MonsterHunt config(XC_Hunt);
Code: Select all
class MonsterHunt expands XC_MonsterHunt;
defaultproperties
{
bCanChangeSkin=True
}

Thank you for the feedback. Can you test (after deleting Browser Cache) if this problem still exists for you?Letylove49 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 7:56 pm i have a bug : look the screenshot :

And thanks everyone else for your feedback! I cant change API related stuff on my end, but your feedback doesnt go unnoticed.
So far I fixed some visual bugs that appeared after integrating the Server Browser in UT99.org.
