[New feature] User mention notifications

I have added a little mod that allows you to mention a user.
Just type
@[Username] (i.e. @Shade) in any post and the user will get a PM notifying him about the mention.
The message you receive when someone mentioned your name looks like this:
You can switch the notification on and off in the User Control Panel:
If you want to be notified without visiting ut99.org, make sure to have email notifications enabled for PMs.
If you encounter any problems, let me know.
Edit: Now it works also with quotes!

Sweet feature, kinda wish more sites had this. Twitter and YouTube make pretty decent use of this, kinda surprising I haven't seen many other sites use it.

Coolio !
It has become the standard way to refer to someone, and is often used here already so it will make a smooth transition.
Actually there are a few features the site can do, but we never enabled or activated them.
eg. this forum supports integrated chat provided by Jabber, though without ever seeing it in use anywhere, it is difficult to tell if it is any use here.

And this worked for me too, now. I received a PM. What are your PM notification settings, papercoffee? Email enabled or disabled? What about popups? Maybe there is a bug.
