Can you tell me what exactly changed for you in a negative way?
I know, not everyone likes changes. But sometimes its necessary for safety reasons. I had to update the forum software and with that, I couldn't keep the old website design 100%.
On the other hand, some new features coming with the software update are quite useful, like the notifications in the top right navigation bar or the better media integration in forum posts.
Also, the loading times are now noticeably shorter.

Ever since we got the upgrade there's been a 1 in a red circle next to the Private Message link.

Been in my PMs and there's no new messages.

How do I make that go away?

Maybe its a very old unread message some sites back.
If you can't find it or just want to forget about it (:P), you can click the "Mark all messages read" link above the message list.

Having trouble adding files. When I click "add file" it lets me select from my computer what I want to upload, but after hitting 'open'... nothing happens. I can see all of the files I previously added to my thread, but I can't seem to attach new ones. Tried on both Chrome and Microsoft Edge with no success.

Thanks for your feedback. How big is the file?

The file I want to add is about 870 KB. T But I can't even upload a 20 KB image; I tried all sorts of sizes and file types and nothing works :? I cleared my cache just in case, but I hadn't even logged into the forum on this new laptop before that, so there wasn't anything to clear.

Hmm, you know what, maybe the thread has an attachment limit? I would hate to start a new one though since it's the same topic...

Edit: Did you see the upload bar? Maybe it has to be added in the text editor box with the attachment tag?

Weeelp, looks like it's my thread that won't let me upload!

I guess I reached a max of.. 5 attachments??? Seems low considering I know we've had threads with map updates etc that have much more. I know we like to keep it neat and tidy here, and I'd prefer not to be making "part 2" "part 3" for one topic :? do I need special permission to post more than 5?

You can combine the images into one or upload them to an external site like imgur and then link them with the img tags.
