As the title says. Somehow the validation process of the renewal of the SSL certificate failed. I will fix it.

Ah ok ...I thought something was odd when FireFox gave me this error.
Firefox wrote:
ut99.org uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate expired on 29.09.2015 01:59. The current time is 29.09.2015 14:56.

(Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)

I have enough trust into this place to not affraid of "warnings" so I went over that SSL warning. Keep going...

My browser won't let me save the certificate permanently, maybe it's because of the OS?
So I have to allow it everytime I visit...

It's nice though that a process is in place to notify people who wander into 'secure' websites.

@Shade:
Do I need to put up a big warning/notification on 333networks as well, or do you think it will be fixed before enough people read it?

I am still in contact with the support. Last information from them:
The new pending operation (step 3 in your account) concerns the revocation of the previous certificate by Comodo. This one will disappear automatically after 48 hours. No action is required from you.
That means, I still have to wait until tomorrow evening. Hopefully, everything works fine then. If not, I will keep you informed.

I wonder why a certificate is needed for a forum at all? Any secrets here? :D
[Edit]
Of course the username/password would be transmitted in plain text then, but users use different passwords for different services, do they?

Don't need secrets to want a measure of security.

Thanks for the efforts on our behalf Shade.

For https (secure http) you need a certificate that essentially confirms who you say you are. As you mentioned, passwords will not be sent as plaintext, but also PMs and your email address will remain hidden from others. Worse, if not for https, your submission could be intercepted and edited.
dark's edit wrote:My earlier statement is not entirely correct/complete. For those interested in certificates and https, please refer to https://calomel.org/ssl_certs.html
I find it very comforting that everything with a username/password is done over https nowadays.

I am very sorry for the unexpected, long downtime. I hope all problems are solved now, the new SSL certificate is active and working.
