How to get access: Send your concept (draft/text, 1-3 sentences) to one of the supervisors (PM). If you can join, you get your own thread in the developement forum. There, you can post screenshots and information about your map, and the other mappers/supervisors can give tips and critism.

If Lord Kafer (the Canadian whiz) is on the case, there'll be no BSP errors..

You have nearly 4 months time.. and you can decide on yourself, what you want to do.. it could be for example a small 1on1, tooGenMoKai wrote:i'd like to join, but i really dont know if i got enough time for it

You can count me in, I still have old 4-6 player CTF layout that I used for unreleased LP map. I just need to make couple of fixes ( aka totally remake the map ) and I'm done with it.

Re: UT99.org Community Map Pack Ver.2 [Preparation Thread]
I could make a whole bunch of cool maps when I was 6 or so in a very short time. That's how I made all the 160 maps UBX 1 had, in 5 months.
Now that the hyperactivity of my childhood has abandoned me, I work a bit slower.
PS: I'm not lying.
Also, for example, my biggest map ever, DM-Vik29Island, which is a huge island that uses almost all the map space, took me 3 days. But it was low-poly.
My highest-poly map at the moment, DOM-Metalic][EDR, was made in 12 hours.
PS: Still, I'm not lying.

Well, that's a quite short period of time for creating a map. I hope the quality and design does not suffer because of this.
