Yes yes I know I'm asking for a disc iso that's probably not really a good thing to ask for, but damnit I'm curiois about it and there's not a single working link anywhere about it other than this one. I thought maybe someone like Carbon or Delacroix knows about it. That's all.

As I recall, there are some maps shared with their read-me file, and if memory doesn't cheat me I think in that file is being written to not distribute on electronic support or sold... available for more than 2500 maps. Probably whoever was doing such things was happily "punished" or about to be "punished". But maybe that dude is "protected" and doesn't give a damn of those... files... Eh ?

Yeah, it's likely that this is just something made by someone at a place where copyrights and licenses aren't really a thing (there are plenty of countries like this).
Therefore these 2500 maps are probably just most of community made maps made and released during that period and all put into a single CD.
I doubt that anyone would ever put in the time to produce such a massive number of maps of their own, even if they are shitty ones, if humanly possible at all.

It is likely, yeah. Thing is apperantly this CD was made in 2000. And as far as I remember there weren't a whole lot of maps that actually had that copyright, let alone even a readme

Could be wrong though.

But yeah, at a time where many UT sites have shut down, this would be a good way to see if there are any lost good maps. Heck I still can't find that many by Strogg and Dr. Pest

Anither guess is that this might be one of those CDs that came with a magazine (I have quite a few of those, actually, including a few with some UT3 mods and maps).

Think I might register on that site's forum and ask, they seem to be active.

I posted a question at 3DSL about this, so let's wait and see if anyone comes through. I doubt that the disc has anything new frankly, but you never know.

This is interesting. But what is most important I think for anyone to find is the ultra rare August 1998 CD release "Unreal Developer Levels" that was sold in Germany in various places.

There were posts about this...I posted myself about it at various forums.

I recently tried to reach the head of marketing in one of the towns it was sold in, but only got automatic reply and no response further. I did mention it has historical importance though.

Also it might be that it's really the pack they were meant to ship with Intel deals, gotten in Germany earlier (sometimes some countries receive some piece of information early and confuse things).

And sold as this, I mean part of that was what the "Level Pack" was meant to be at least the singleplayer part...before they had the Botpack idea.

And yet apparently, it was released in some form for one month and then pulled off the shelves. Now to just find this extreme rarity and get to talk to more german people.
