Hey,
I remember having played on a downloaded maps long ago and I forgot the name, if someone could know and tell me the name of it that would be amazing!
It was a sort of "'demonstration" map, not really a multiplayer map at all. You standed ontop of a sort of square and the map completely made abuse of the Warp / portals to make it look like you were ontop of a giantic sphere, like a planet. There were sorts of chandeliers hanging on the ceiling that balanced slowly, and a very weird atmosphere.
Does that ring any bell ?

Can you remember which gametype it was? I may have an suggestion.. or two.

It's called twisted libary. There is no planet though...

No, it's none of them. The map was I guess a "DM" but in fact it was just an "experiment" or something like that I guess - it was obviously unplayable for competitive deathmatch or so.

The map was just a little cube in which you almost had no place to stand. And each wall of that cube was a slightly tilted Warp portal that was linked to the opposite wall. That means on your right, left, front and back you could see yourself. And move in that sort of "loop". But since the portals were slightly tilted, it gave the impression you were standing ontop of a giant sphere, because each of those projections was slightly tilted from you. you see what I mean ? and there were a sort of chandelier with candles hanging on the ceiling of that room, slowly balancing. It was "probably" from a very popular map pack (at least as popular as the official Innox pack) because I never downloaded map back then, and I only downloaded 3 or 4 map packs that I thought were sort of "DLC's" for the game (official community map packs)

Map rings a bell, but I can't quite put it together yet.
A lot of those weird maps were made by this guy on http://www.evilut.com maybe one of those?
At first the chandelier bit kinda reminded me of CTF-TDC-Amisa from this pack: http://medor.no-ip.org/index.php?dir=Ma ... ck2006.zip but I dont remember it having any warp shenanigans...

There was also this one mappack that I completely forgot the name of.. Think it was a contest mappack that the rules were to make as bad a map as possible or something like that, but one of those was a DOM map that was like on a tiny sphere (think Kai's tiny planet from DBZ that loops but like almost indoors with some trippy backround skybox) and was actully pretty neat with the decorations and skybox, just that it played kinda uuuugh...

Doctor Evil was a warp-zone fanatic.

One room, portal zoned in an infinite loop in any direction, player can see himself through the portals, chandeliers on the ceiling.
Does any of your suggestions look like that description?
C'mon you can do better. Doctor Evil can't be the only one who used zone portals.
