It looks for the UT install, but on my system fails.
The registry entry for UT is pointing at a valid folder, so maybe it is looking for a specific folder location.
It wants admin rights so maybe it is looking in the Programs folder.

Readme doesn't have it mentioned to be an exclusive or anything. Solid map by Desperado#2.

Yes he did join Epic. We still don't know whether the bestbuy one was the same thing or not. Also did anyone check the contents of the exe? Is it the same version?

Perhaps he released it public afterwards, it should be checked though.

What wiki are you talking about? If it's "unreal wikia" i found a lot of inacuraccies, like treating "division" pack as official even though version 2 contained altered files and the wiki crediting a level by Inoxx that was made by Mick Beard and was cut from RtNP and not Unreal betas...

I ment more the Liandri Archives page, where at least on the 2k4 section, there is a bit called Bonus Maps, where the maps that got either featured or partly made by an Epic dev were put

It seems that a few big retailers had the same 'deal' with the bonus level. As I said, the box from which that bonus level CD came had no stickers from any particular retailer, while the sealed edition is indeed has the "BestBuy" sticker.

Yes it definitely should because GE II is less of a bonus level than this, GE II wasn't released as "official" despite being released by inoxx himself.

EXCLUSIVE my butt, that thing is everywhere. I was getting ready to purchasing this thing but luckily Carbon here saved me from it and well done, Carbon. Coz otherwise I'd feel really cheated.

The funny thing is, it would have been exclusive if it wasn't for....guess what

If it wasn't for Deserado 2 thinking it wasn't released at all on any UT edition and him releasing it standalone later.

From the linkedin page(cannot display it fully as I have trouble logging in):
-I created a level (CTF-Baranco) for Infogrames to be included in the Gold release of Unreal Tournament. (Was never released in the Gold release)

Bit of a twist to this, check this out!


Even Flak posted in there, saying it was Baranco, but the guy later updated that it was actually DM-Chronos

Awesome!!! Yes, I have been following that thread. I really like Chronos, I play it a lot. The bots do really well here, and the shield belt is in a very interesting location. I would say the "bonus" was totally worth it.
