The Deck maps

DM-Deck16][ is a staple ut99 map but it's not so unique as you might think. Not just other versions of the same map but sometime after ut99 was first released some people started making Decks 1 through 15.

I used to have DM-Deck1
I still have DM-Deck64

Does anyone know where online the other Deck maps are?

DMDeck16, unreal...
Thinking about it, isn't Deck16 based on Unreal's ISV Kran decks 1-4?

I have quite a few Deck maps, but Hermskii has many of them.
Hermskii's {CG} UT99 Classy "Classic" Redeemer server has a good number of the Deck maps on it also.

I think he has a map pack available from his site with them in it - I have a few of his map packs also with a good number of Deck maps.

A version of Deck I really recommend trying is DM-Deck_40, it's one of my favourite remakes

Thing is, Deck 40 is too different to be called a remake. Now DM-Deck420 and DM-Sixteen can be remakes

I see your point but I'd argue that it's exactly how a remake should be done

. Matter of taste of course, personally I don't like much remakes that are too close to the original. I like Sixteen, but while I like the small changes the author did here and there to the layout and connectivity the maps still plays pretty much the same to Deck16][, which is kind of the point but I'd rather play an original map

I like Deck_40 because while it retails a resemblance to the original Deck layout it feels fresh, gameplay is quite different. (Keep in mind that I'm not a huge fan of the original Deck too

)

My favourite one is the UT2K4 remake for UT99, and the standard Deck][16
I think this is the best 1v1 map ever and really tactical map, and sometimes easy the spawnkilling
