try browsing http://www.mapraider.com > CTF?

Also Re: redirect Checker.. try this version : http://unrealtournament.99.free.fr/utfi ... sc224a.zip
*no need for silly .net1.1

^ also note that it is an admin tool for uploading and checking if files are on a redirect service aye?.

if you need/want to decompress xx.xx.uz files then simply copy them to your /system folder then;

[windows]+[R] type cmd [enter] & type;
cd c:\Unrealtournament\System [enter]
ucc decompress xx.xx.uz [enter] > note: xx.xx.uz = YourFile.u*.uz
.
.
.
decompressed file will be there.
;)

try this link when it comes back online;

Code: Select all

Index of /tmp/unreal_files/files/maps/2006-09-12-2010
http://hwi.ath.cx/tmp/unreal_files/files/maps/2006-09-12-2010/
[DIR], Parent Directory, -. [ ], CTF-WatchYourStep.unr, 15-Sep-2006 03:18, 865K. Apache/2.2.16 (Debian) Server at hwi.ath.cx Port 80.
^probz same one.. but.. ahh well..

Here, I made a vague sketch of CTF-WatchYourStep.

http://imgur.com/3SvlGAi

The sketch isn't translated perfectly from what I had in mind but that's because I suck at sketches.

The mountains between the bases and the center bridge should be a bit closer to the center bridge and further from the bases and so do the firefly filled palmtrees, my mistake.

Are they game relevant?

As I see we can convert this map from something mountain like into something lava giant like?
With 4 Islands and bridges. Would this be OK?

I quite like adding the buzzing from the normal flies.
Loud-ish but short-range, so you hear them moving around your head rather than just a back-ground buzzing.
I also set them to side-step, so they behave correctly if you try to swat them :tu: It also gives them a more random flight which also looks more believable.

These days we are also well equipped with tree-packs, so you can take the opportunity to give it more of a "face"-lift.
You know, take a "leaf"... out of Creavion's book.... *ahem* :what:
