Popped over to Mapraider, found these · http://www.mapraider.com/maps/search/Strogg

Just maps he helped work on, all UT but not all ut99.

Hi

I have all of these maps and have attached them to this post (limit of 5, so will post twice). I used to download loads of UT99 maps in the 2000-2002 period and kept most of them.

I may have others that people are after. Feel free to PM.

Welcome aboard and thank you very much for the maps! :tu:

Great to see these recovered, really liked his ONP work, so I'm looking forward playing these as well.

Have a look at the Download Search section if you can, I think there's some more maps not yet found :P

Thank you indeed MrLane, and a warm welcome back to the UT99 world

I suggest that it may be useful for the future if we all make a public UT99 folder in our various web drives, and organise collections in them.
The shared links to the folders can then be added to other peoples web drives (depends on the service), and from then on any new files or changes will be visible to anyone sharing it.

eg.
A selection of my UT99 archives https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... XltVC0zNzg
A selection of my Unreal archives https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... 250TnRZZUE Also contains resources and editing tools that work in UT

Add those to your own google drive and you will always be able to find anything I uploaded without needing to ask.

I didn't know antagonist aliens from a Quake series game could create mods for a game like Unreal!
"Everyone is an idea man. Everybody thinks they have a revolutionary new game concept that no one else has ever thought of. Having cool ideas will rarely get you anywhere in the games industry. You have to be able to implement your ideas or provide some useful skill. This also applies to mod authoring. If you become a skilled or notable mod author, you will find people propositioning you to implement their ideas. Never join a project whose idea man or leader has no obvious development skills. Never join a project that only has a web designer. You have your own ideas. Focus on them carefully and in small chunks and you will be able to develop cool projects."
