UT community lost another one: R.I.P.

Killerbee's forum is all but dead, but I had some of the best fun playing MH on their servers so I still stop by once a month.

Sad news indeed. Another one of us denied another respawn .
Seems our aging community is already something of a topic there, with their recent "Rest In Peace" tribute map.
I was thinking about tribute maps and servers yesterday actually, as one of the original Quake2 Chaos clan was killed last week, shot in the back by a coward.

We have a unique opportunity in the modding world to honour those we shared fun and bullets with.
I think it may be time for each game to host permanent "Wall of Heros" servers, where tribute maps and player models are assembled.
Perhaps Epic may be interested, as it would also publicly show how many years of service the UT warriors have been willing to put in.

Perhaps our next mapping competition could be tribute based ?
