I usually play UT simply in the form of a continuous practice session, I have a lot of custom maps and regardless of what I do, the game will not allow me to have more than 31 maps in my queue. I've tried adding more maps via an INI edit, I've even tried adding them by editing the INI for the map randomiser myself, but there's simply no way to get it to let me queue more than 31 maps. Is there any way I can fix it without the need for having to set up a dedicated server?

I use a mutator called MapRandomizer (not home right now so can't upload it). It can either go from the list you're talking about or (much more fun) you can set it to randomly select from ALL OF YOUR MAPS.

Well, ALL from whatever gametype you're playing.

Just to note, the download above doesn't include the files MapRandomizer.int or MapRandomizer.text. The full package can be downloaded from the usual sources.

In addition, the number of maps in the maplist in MapRandomizer is 32 so it won't address the issue raised by the OP.

That shouldn't be an issue if you select ALL MAPS, unless you only have 32 maps total. I've got over 300 in most game types and it randomly sorts through them all.

I see - haven't tried it myself - so that should solve the OP's problem.

An alternative to MapRandomizer which may also address the issue is XMaps http://www.moddb.com/mods/xmaps

Or use a mapvote with a 'random' option, you get to either random the map or pick by the end.
