There are some names we all know, some of us better than others. I still think fondly of my interactions with Usaar33 & ZenCoder long before I even knew UT-forums existed... but that's a tale for another day.

That's a nice gift.
I remember reading a pirate copy of his book on level design and honestly, it was pretty annoying (basic concepts, not very in-depth about actual design, many typos and bad formatting).
But I can't not applaud the effort of giving everything away for free. Hourences has done a lot for Unreal over the years and that's another nice touch.
