Hoping this also brings a little warmth and home --- "UT Feeling ". To all.
Got these 3 nice wooden boards. And I have a wood "burning pen." "sanding machine " and a "engraving tool"
And since I got 3 of them, maybe it would be nice to have them some nice carved-or burned high quality UT LOGOs ....
Which I can send to people to hang on their wall, or place on their desk. My intention is to be prices prices for the next mapping competition.
I'm not a professional artists or something, just a hobby of mine. Hope to make the quality of it as high as possible
Pictures part one 1: Practice / Tryouts on junk wood.
Spoiler
I started tonight. But Since I won't use the nice professional board, I just practice / warmup on a junk - tall piece of wood.
So the pictures are just try-outs. ...
1 I tried to draw the UT logo, BUT IT IS TOO HARD. So I printed a few logos.
YOU ALL TRY TO DRAW THE LOGO, TOO HARD.
The setup! in my nufty shed. Oh yes!
The result and practicing with the SHARP BLADE ON THE U LOGO SO FAR!!!
The flash of camera is making a bit blurry but looks really cool so far.
Spoiler
I used specal paper to print the logo onto the wood as a mark over!
Looks good, only lower left corner went wrong...
After I used an engraving machine, for a mark over, and using a sanding machine, this is the result!
Burning it for extra in-depth

That's why the lower sentence is a bit aligned to the right, and space for exclamation marks... or characters.
