It can't be the router because I tried manually opening the router ports for ut. remember Vista drops lots of support for older technologies. For instance open g/l doesn't exist on vista. you can try compatibility mode also which doesn't seem to fix the issue. If you wait long enough the master list will show. 30 minutes or so later.. its not antivirus I tried disabling that as well.

That custom OpenGL you sent me worked on the Vista computer. I had to tweak my UT ini file around a bit before I could actually work out UT on this computer. Unfortunately I do not know what those are.

im sorry what i meant to say was the OS doesn't support open g/l.. the game and your video card will still support it. sorry i wasn't clear about that. I was just trying to make an example ;)

I have UT99 installed on 2 Vista Machines. One is Vista Home Basic 32bit. The other is Vista Home Premium 32bit. In the MonsterHunt Tab it stops loading MH Servers at around 63-68% just about every ding dang time. On my XP 'Puter 100% of the Monsterhunt Servers load, and quickly. I use the same Firewall and Security Programs on all three Systems. What gives?

I've heard that MH master server has gone under some kind of maintenance. Could be wrong though :confused2:

I got my Dell XPS M1530 laptop with vista, Dell don't sell these with xp.
had to integrate sata 2 drivers into my xp cd and install, and then find correct drivers to work with xps with my laptop
since it only has vista drivers on dell's web.
still using xp on my laptop.
XP>Vista.

Works perfectly fine here with vista ultimate 64bit.
I use nvidia XG 178.13 driver and the D3d9 renderer.
