Does any one know how to keep your weapons from changing by themselves. It's really bad news when you meet up
with a bot and your holding a good weapon but it suddenly changes to a bad one without you doing anything. I have
this problem at some point in every game. I recently tweaked version 432 per the instructions in this bulletin to run on
windows 10. Is there something else I need to do?
Spontaneous weapons change
Re: Spontaneous weapons change
You could try checking your AutoSwitch setting - in your User.ini, go to Engine.PlayerPawn and ensure that bNeverAutoSwitch=True.
Re: Spontaneous weapons change
I guess the described problem is not AutoSwitch related. That happens to me also in a no reproducible way: I select a weapon, and before I can shoot, it switches to another weapon. Very annoying, that...

If I was meant: I usually use the number keys to select a specific weapon.papercoffee wrote:How do you switch that weapon?

Re: Spontaneous weapons change
No I asked generally... For me, I'm a arrow-key player and have the most important weapons bind on the num-keys. I select the important weapons and use the scroll wheel on the mouse to switch to the other weapons.Barbie wrote:If I was meant: I usually use the number keys to select a specific weapon.
One of my old mouses had a hardware failure and switched to other weapons on its own.
That's why I asked OP (and now you) how a weapon switch is initiated.
