During the early development stages of UT2600 I have visited this forum a couple of times to ask which maps I should translate to the game.

UT2600 is in open beta and can be downloaded here http://www.ut2600.com (for free) to be played with an emulator or via Harmony cart on a real Atari 2600. There's even an online JavaScript based emulator embedded right on the website which supports netplay!

UT2600 is a two player-only game, you'll need two controllers configured to make it past the map selection.

Well actually there is ps2 version of ut99, and also Android PS2. Emulator so you can easly do it :) Also as I remember in ps2 version there is no dodge?

I remember playing UT on the PS2, what a terrible port! There's so much lag around (and you only fight against one or two bots per map), some maps are almost unplayable because of this (and the fov sucks).
UT is a PC game, another console/mobile port is just pointless, just my opinion though.

Have to disagree with you there, Jimmy. Yes the port is fairly slowish and the max amount of bots is like 5 or 6. But the extra stuff on it is cool. I like the updated models on, the HUD looks nice. Plus some of the new maps are pretty cool.
Now granted you can get almost all of these on the PC as well, so (points at the signature).... :P

Haven't tried the Dreamcast port yet. Really wanna see the maps THAT one got. :)

Yeah, you're right about the extra stuff. UT on the PS2 featured exclusive content that was actually interesting, some PS2 exclusive maps were really cool (DM-Brickyard, DM-Hood, and DM-Sorayama were my favorites), luckily those maps were ported to PC :D Then again, the low fps and the crappy fov were a real letdown for me.
I never tried UT on DC, but gameplay videos on YT show a much better fov.

I'd rather walk into the walls while playing this game. Portable is awesome!
