1920x1080 resolution xhair issues ... -_- ...

Post by ~{kRiD}~ »

Alright so just coming back after another long stretched break ... Just got my new PC all setup and trying to get everything 100%. I now am playing in 1920x1080 and the xhairs are all screwed, like bloated! i run s3tc so i got the xxhair pack for those and they work beautifully but i can't use any of my custom xhairs i like .. i tried to resize to 32x32 and also tried simply setting the drawscale to 0.5 and still ..... anyone know the best way i can go about resizing xhairs to fit my resolution .....

Sounds like your current xhair pack does not support 1920 resolution?
Did you had it before on this very same resolution?

If you're using the 'dot' in 1920 i can recommend:

Crosshair scaling at high resolutions is just plain screwed in UT.

A solution will depend on the servers you play on. If the server uses ACE Anticheat, you can perform `mutate ace crosshairscale 1` in the UT console.

On the bunnytrack.net servers, use `mutate ch_scale 1`.

For single player games, or your own server, you can make use of the CustomCrossHairScale mutator yourself:

Correct, it's screwed.. Anthrax needs to be nice and release a stone alone version of the xhair scaling fix! :P

My alternate solution was to export the xhair (1337patsui) resize to 32x32 (which use does NOT support btw) create another layer (black for transparency in UT) and merge the 2 layers!
