That issue has been fixed.
Screenshots are saved as PNG in \system\screenshots in the beta.

Would be nice if such thing exist to "merge" cache from another UT99 folder. Even if it not for 469, a program to do that will also be great. Only thing someone need to keep in mind is that when it comes to merging, combine the files and their name on the cachelist is gonna have more than 1 same name but different GUID.

My Cache folder it's not inside UT folder anyway... and this is not a problem. The problem is when multiple files in cache have the same final name but... they are different, and here will be a bigger PROBLEM if you are UnCaching folder into normal files. I do not recommend such practices, cache content it's always working without issues.

Sigh... when someone reply like that. zzzzz I haven't had a problem with what you are having.

All I'm only asking about is merging the cache files into 1 folder. And since anth keep forgetting, setpurgecachedays=0.

And that location is Cache for Working UT version as well, not only common Client version. This is how I do use the same Cache for TWO copies of UT and even two more other UT copies using the same 1 Single Cache folder. And... I didn't say anything about any problem, because I don't touch cache files if I don't need anything from there. Location of TMP files also can be defined and a batch plugin/application can be delegated to remove these if they are still floating around.

How can I take a Sshot in UT99 469?

F9 and sshot in console didn't work

F9, which my command says SShot and they will show up in a Screenshot folder under System.

The game needs to be started as administrator ...
Now the F9 and "sshot" command works.

Mine show up like this D:\Achis\System469\Screenshots and didn't start up as admin... hmm.

Question to all:
Does anyone know the command to add an inventory item to player without summoning the boot or other items?

I only know this kind of example:

in console do:
--------------------------------------
set input 4 summon shockrifle
--------------------------------------

the 4 key give a shock rifle, and respawn another later.

Instead of doing this: Summon unreali.bootjump

Do this: %PlayerID% inventoryadd unreali.bootjump

This skips the summon directly, and add an inventory to a specific person. Useful for BT/Xloc lol but I have other plans in mind for one of my server.

Will the patch fix crosshair scaling by default? I hate the size of the crosshair in my UT (too big on high resolution)

Before I had the same problem...

The patch is available, and yes there are many new sizes of crosshairs.
It's amazing what they did with the game UI, and has many new options.

The size is 65 MB.
