It's a normal version number

Off Topic, Re-Read the title - he was talking about version 400 not 440. That was my first CD - v400 which later I upgraded and configured another repository.

I know but "...all previous public releases of UT (versions 400 ..." tells you that 400 was an official UT release does it not?

400 is the 1999 retail version of the game. As in, the nowadays rare, non-GOTY version.

The UT I bought back in the day was before GOTY, the blue box one. (Apparently I do not have that CD anymore :noidea ). So, are all the blue box CDs version 400? Or not? :what:

GOTY version is red, retail is blue, then again, release subject to region, I guess...
