Game Running Really Fast (Help)

Post by T1Cybernetic »

I have read about this before (probably on this very forum) but i couldn't find the answer!

Anyway, i just had to reinstall ut99 because of a computer upgrade + format etc but for some reason the game is running at a million miles an hour, which is fun (a little) but pretty annoying too :mad2:

It runs perfectly fine on the old server computer (single core athlon/nforce2/radeon 9000 etc)
But this new rig is a dual core phenom ii 4870 xxx and a whole load of other interesting stuff.

Any ideas what i can do to fix it?
Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it into a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow, or it can crash! Be water, my friend. (Bruce Lee)

Direct D3D8 or Direct D3D9 Driver (somewhere on utzone.de also as download to find)
in case you have an AMD Dual core install the Dual Core optimizer.
About to be non-active
My very last UT map project: CTF-FacePalm (tropical CTF-Face remake)
Why do I leave? click here
What I want to do next: Joining an UDK team (uncertain however) and improve 3D modelling and texture editing skills
Thanks to those who visibly supported me until/at the end!
