BT jumping on platforms

There are some BT maps that have boosters that push you vertically in order to reach some platform. With a few maps, the booster does not push me far enough to reach a platform. And I noticed that I'm not the only one, a few other people have problems reaching the platform (so they keep jumping on the same booster), while the majority have no problems. I have been playing BT for quite a while, so I know how to properly jump or use boosters. I could try every jump method (I've tried 500x on some booster) but the booster just doesn't push far enough.

Your ping can be a reason here. Try playing that map locally and you will find out..

Yeah tried that, it's still the same problem.

That means the map should have a problem anyway.. Maybe you should give up trying or try and correct the map using unrealed. You can alternatively contact the author and see if he can maybe help you with that.

im not sure if i know what you are on about exactly but you should try dodging onto a booster and it will launch u further

yeah i know one map on my server where u have to fall a good distance land on booster and them make it on platform. This is achieved by landing int he absolute center of the jumper and either jumping with correct timing or do a front dodge as u hit it. I hope that helps!
