I know it's fairly simple to change your name without exiting the game you're playing. Just TAB and 'name (put name here without parenthesis)' and you're good to go.

Is there a way to switch teams without popping out of the game?

yes some mods allow u to change teams by typeing !R !b ect most severs use these mods

For 4-way teamplay does that include a !G and !Y or !G?
