Did they finally finish Firestorm?

Yay!

I gotta play against those dragons.

Oh, wait. Maybe not. I thought those might be these:

Ummm, well what can I say about this shot ? :loool:
1. Is it a strange brown dog/horse/living piece of shit.
2. Do they f*ck each other?
3. Is the one on top standing on hus nuts?
4. Is the one to the right enjoying the view of that thing?
5. Is that a squid in the water?!
1. It is a shit horse intended for "Thievery" mod for UT.
2/3 !!! I just found them in the field in this position. I think the one on top is a necrophiliac.
4. I only stayed long enough to take photo's and video, while having a coffee and sandwiches, till they finished.
5. Yes. Never stay in the water in my modded maps :satan:

Yeah, it's from a SP being made for Unreal1 & UT called Firestorm.

It's still not available yet. I cannot wait until it is so I may smite those flying bits of luggage!

It is not available yet... for years now. All these bigger sp mods are still not finished yet (TCO, RD, FS). This is bigger vaporware than Duke Nukem Forever ever was, or at least they come close to it. Specially Firestorm is supposed to be for years now in the final beta phase, for YEARS, seriously! If they really try to "remove" any possible bug, you won`t be able to play anything of this stuff before 2020! They are not doing nobody any favours with something like that.

I betatested firestorm myself in 2006, before Turboman started reworking the levels to more "modern" approach and adding the foliage and remodelled weapons. It was supposed to be the final test before release back then, we were testing it on a private coop server as well, very extensively. Then I got the news that it's not gonna be released and that he will probably either not release it all or start working on it again much later and release it in 2008. (when i published screenshots of turboman talking about that and he was obviously in bad mood becaue there was swearing as well and stuff like that, nobody believed me and I was flagged pretty much as a liar and the hype continued, that was also when mine and turboman's relationship got on odd terms, we haven't talked for about year after that) Then came the 2008 trailer with the new foliage and stuff. 2008 passed and Firestorm is still nowhere, and new content was being made...although I can hope for the better. I don't like the new music by Frieza though it would be better off without it(and his music would require fmod to be installed or new .dll, for ogg music, that means that online it wouldn't get downloaded probably, maybe make the ogg music optional then? I certainly don't like stuff like this, originally firestorm was meant to be compatible for all platforms and coop had a lot of priority, it seems it's not that way anymore), but mister prophet was improving on storyline also and stuff like that, so it will definitely be better than what it used to be, many of the oriignal 2006 maps lacked any creativity and ideas (they looked like reduxes of existing maps with not much new to it), that won't be the problem now I guess and also I remember I liked certain maps which Turboman didn't like and thought were horrible.

Btw medor, that U97 pawn stuff was very in progress work of master unreal. It is not the final thing and I have updated versions of it too. Bob is infamous for leaking unfinished releases and cache ripping stuff from servers, too (although not with harm in mind). So keep that in mind that it is not the finished thing at all.

Sorry for that, but it was completely different topic, besides I didn't even realize it when posting the second post, I noticed the dragons too late and hit the reply, I think it doesn't matter anyways (imo) if the two replies are not really related to each other.
