Here's where the picture comes from: https://forums.epicgames.com/threads/91 ... 23830eeee9Rocky wrote:I don't remember where I got it. It was stored in my mobile...
And anyway, the pic is a POTD and it comes from here, actually: http://planetunreal.gamespy.com/Viewe47 ... =POTD.List
But I cannot click on Old POTD, it says "ACCESS DENIED" D:
And here's where the background comes from: http://www.comodoro.gov.ar/efemerides/2 ... oncepcion/
(I think the background actually comes from the same graphic engine of the last pic)

My "loaded" cheat sense is high for that photo!
"Everyone is an idea man. Everybody thinks they have a revolutionary new game concept that no one else has ever thought of. Having cool ideas will rarely get you anywhere in the games industry. You have to be able to implement your ideas or provide some useful skill. Never join a project whose idea man or leader has no obvious development skills. Never join a project that only has a web designer. You have your own ideas. Focus on them carefully and in small chunks and you will be able to develop cool projects."

Re: Screenshots for fun
I've got 577 Deathmatch maps, might take a little while to figure out which one it is; I use MapRandomizer.papercoffee wrote:Map name is ...?
Also, wasn't sure if you'd be interested. It's a DM ripped from a World War 2 UT-mod. Thing is filled with... German military symbols.
1 hour later: It's called DM-RealAssault.
In my early days of map hunting I was immediately impressed with AngelHeart's work. Hands down, he makes some of the most impressive real world looking maps; though I've got some equally amazing maps from other impressive folks... but let's stick with AH.
These are his too...

AngelHeart ...god dammit I should have known it. Can be that I already downloaded it but I played more CTF in the last month and not so much DM.EvilGrins wrote: Also, wasn't sure if you'd be interested. It's a DM ripped from a World War 2 UT-mod. Thing is filled with... German military symbols.

Thanks.
And for the symbols ...as long as you don't show them in this forum is everything ok.
Shade is German and someone could bring in an action against him and his forum if he wouldn't prohibit it here. That's all.

Re: Screenshots for fun
Sometimes when I'm letting the UT Corps (bots) have a go at it, I like to switch to the perspective of the Boss-monster and watch the game from its eyes...

Re: Screenshots for fun
Well spotted. I'm glad someone commented.Carbon wrote:I see what you did there. You a lefty?Dr.Flay wrote:Flay with guitar.
No, I admit it was lazyness. I could either find the anim frame where the bot is the other way, or just flip the guitar.
I could have flipped the finished image to correct it, but I liked the idea of there being a detail only some people will spot.
It is a simple setup in UEd and the camera angled to hide any editor clues.
Setups are always more interesting, and are the ones you tend to find that people end up re-using, such as our Xmas mappack shot I posted which has been used by other UT sites since then (I should have added a little ut99.org in the corner).
I wondered what Google deep dream would do to it, so here is the "Super Trippy" version.
I shall call it "Hendrix trips at the arena".... or maybe "The Ungrateful Dead"
