It's not a manta. It's a bird. Y'know, those completely harmless birds you see flying around on some maps?
I got ahold of 2 different skins for that thing, the one in that pic is a dragon skin for it.
Other skin makes it look like a distant relation to a Warlord.

I used Garry's Mod, but the model is Faraleth from UT3. UT3 has custom skins too, you know.

My favorite skin in UT3...really badass. Rt click 'view image' for full res.
Terminator looks pretty nasty as well...
Can't recall this one's name...a bit 'cartoony'...
