Im a long time player of fuzzballs mh and im not able to play now due to a monster hunt version miss match. i was just wondering what monster hunt the server uses and were i can get it caus it is 1 of the main servers i play.

That would be the 503patch that you need. You can find it here:

When you go to install it in your c:\UnrealTournament\System folder and it ask if you want to over-write the existing one say yes. Try to connect then. If you still have the error delete your c:\UnrealTournament\Cache folder and then try again. Yes, there is a more surgical way of doing this but this is just a quick and easy fast answer.

I find this very curious. I'm running like the original version of MH and anytime I come across a more advanced version, my system just downloads the necessary files from the server so it'll allow me to play. When I'm just playing at home I still have the version I started out with so it only upgrades me for servers.

I've never had an MH mismatch, just mismatches with either .umx files or monsterpacks.

Did Hermskii's solution work?

I'm seeing this problem a lot lately. Could this be due to all of the mutated versions of MH going around?
MH2 came out and then suddenly I see all sorts of personalized variations of it.

I've not changed anything about the MH Mods I've been running for the past 2 years and hope all of these MH variants don't MUCK UP the game for players who like to play different servers.

Herm, is this Patch 503 made in addition to MH503 or is MH_503 actually the patch?

There is two MH503 real name MonsterHunt.u here the big one http://unrealtournament.99.free.fr/utfi ... unt503.zip There is a smaller but I got rid of long ago.

(1)Download cache cleaner
(2)Make a copy of all of your cache files and copy it to a different place
(3)Run cleaner
(4) Try out UT


I think this should work, please note that you still have to download files from server, UT uses Cache files to look in your UT99 folder instead of the internet.
