Hmm....first link is to a full copy of UT. While UT may be past it's retail prime, it isn't abandonware/freeware yet.

Realistically true, factually accurate... damn those pesky game pirates!Carbon wrote:While UT may be past it's retail prime, it isn't abandonware/freeware yet.
Although, my copies of UT were paid for by someone else.
1) One friend forgot it at my place when he moved outta town
2) Other was the ones I used to install mine a friend lent to me, and then he got the patch so he didn't need the discs anymore so he just gave them to me.
Course, I got that patch, and the ones that came after, so realistically I don't need them anymore either. Still, they do make nice coasters.

But what of those who publicize them?!EvilGrins wrote:Realistically true, factually accurate... damn those pesky game pirates!
Doesn't matter where your copies came from, so long as they were bought!

Re: Obscure UT sites
BTW. Grins try a site:ut99.org search in any search engine for ut99maps.gamezoo.org before deciding it is not mentioned here.
Not only does it have it's own thread, it is in all of UTPe's sigs, so is listed here at least 368 times
As for the malware threat, it is because it has 2 links to a bad offsite script.

I have tried warning him, but the site is now listed as a threat by more services
