Not so much obscure as new:
http://ut-jetlagg.weebly.com/
DestinationUnreal's forum is advertising this as a new site specifically for UT players into mapping.

Think this is the only thread that necro-bumps are okay... I hope.

Obscure doesn't always mean old, and as this one is brand new · http://ingersolldesign.weebly.com/ · or so I hear.

Necro-bumps are allowed if you are the author, or you have an update or answer to the info or question.
Some threads by their nature are a collection of related info/links, and must be re-used each time.
The sounds, textures, conversion tools threads are all threads like this one.
Posting something that happens to relates to the topic, or just saying "Wow !! i remember this cool mod", is what we discourage.

Nice off topic.

Also, I don't think we have www.unrealaddicts.net yet. Also just really new, not necessarily obscure.

Obscure doesn't always mean old, and as this one is brand new · http://ingersolldesign.weebly.com/ · or so I hear.

Thank you for linking my site. Excited to get back into into level design and be a part of the unreal community again. It's awesome to still see such a big fan base for ut99. If you have time please check out my maps, any feedback is appreciated.

Very cool. I really like Revenge, awesome and easy to play. I hope some don't mind when I go off topic a bit, but I'll say something: Cool site!

A off topic thing lol... About Revenge, I remember picking the map because I wanted to revenge an enemy for defeating me in 1 map (1v1). I didn't know Revenge map at all. But it was really easy and small, very easy to remember spawn points, and I've defeated my enemy on that map. Then played it with a couple of other, win or loose, I really enjoy it. :)

Ok a bit more onto on topic.. I found this the other day, too bad it's in german language. http://www.unrealed.info/forum/index.php
http://ut99adminunleashed.blogspot.com/ seem cool but it look like the guy was using a custom mod.

UnrealEd.info is hardly obscure but as most people don't spot the option to change to English, it gets overlooked.
Scroll to the bottom (I know stupid). On the left you will see 2 drop-down menus. The right-hand one is the language option.
It is a very useful resource site, but you will still need a translator plugin in your browser for posts written in German.

Yeah I tried to change it to English, but the posts are still German. I wouldn't use an add on to translate tho, so I just leave it be lol.

Yes true, most of the post are in German.

I see vast amounts of the world and therefore the internet uses other languages, so it seems a shame not to see what I am missing.
The choice of translator plugins for browsers is confusing and way over the top, but I found a couple of good ones.
I had to tone-down the one I have in Opera, because it was translating the whole page so fast I never even noticed I was on a different language site.
Sometimes I would notice because the sentences or grammar were strange.
I now have it set to ask me first, so I don't get as confused

Opera has had basic translation as a standard feature for so long, it seems like a standard part of communicating in the world.
There are some stunning maps on Japanese and Russian sites, as UT is very popular there.
Some of my favourite maps are from a Russian mapper who posted here a while ago (only 1 of them was actually posted here).

It is your loss not using a translator on the net, but at some point I imagine all browsers will have it as standard.
