Well, generally when I visit more communities rather than this one, I guide myself by my own blog featured links ("other unreal websites", right column, scroll down):
http://feralidragon.blogspot.pt/
Some of them are in your list as well, others not really (like UnrealKillers clan site [biggest siege community nowadays], OldUnreal [mostly an Unreal community, home of Unreal 227 patch and development], etc).

One which is not there though, and which I visit quite often is: http://moddb.com (the Unreal Tournament section to be more specific)

Only here, moddb (as GEx1, since there was a geX already registered) and UTzone.de (only for uploading something, since I can't speak german). I also registered at UP but Immediatly got a ban and a blocked ip. :mad2:

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'm also registered at gameFAQs, but the last post in the ut section was in april. :(

Epic Games Forums and UTzone.de has the most visited of me, the current and new UT2004/UT3 players. BeyondUnreal Forums does not seem quite right, there are few users in the forum (most popular in various Games and Off-Topic) and includes dirty threads in Off-Topic and spoiling responses. UTzone.de has the English-language by picking the Quick Language Chooser drop-down menu at the footer. And UP has immediately banning users that are from Europe (except UK, and no problem with my IP on my country). Now, UOF and this UT99.org forum will do the same way, so no problem with me.

Are you sure UP is banning players from Europe? I am from Portugal and I am not banned anyhow from there (I have a an account there), and some other people there which I am certain are from Europe can see it as well. Don't you mean they are perhaps banning only a few countries from Europe instead?

Anyway, Epic forum is also a nice place, unlike many other official game/company forums out there. But I don't hang there often, I mean, if I was a UT2k4 or UT3 player/developer, perhaps it would be the best place to be, now for UT1, their long forgotten game which made them their entire UT franchise in the first place and which no longer has even a single tiny section for it alone... doesn't feel right to me.

I used to hang around on UP.
but decided to leave when they gave up on ut99.
I also visited nalicity before it crashed.
now I just visit ut99.

I use the Google Chrome browser, it's got a translation function built into it which I find handy on that site.
:highfive:

Good idea for a thread Grins (as you can see by the replies) and a nice selection :tu:
I subscribe to every forum I can find via RSS news-feeds. As soon as someone posts anywhere, I get a popup notification in Opera browser (the browser of choice for geeks and IT professionals since the 90's).

And thankyou, I'll be adding a load of these to my feed and the dynamic news links page on my "My Unreal" site.
This 1 page is my start-point for all Unreal news. I now have the largest aggregated Unreal news and updates page on the planet, and it gets bigger all the time.

Beyond Unreal is full of children as far as I can tell. Can't imagine what you must have done GEx to get banned from Unreal Playground, as they still allow Kaal there

*Off-topic time. Sorry*
Grins If you are fool enough to use chrome (I still classify it as spy-ware), then I hope you have excluded yourself from googles data harvesting policies?
Until you opt-out they can sell all your web browsing activity to whoever wants it. You also should opt-out of the collection of your data for their own use.
ALL USERS, DO NOT FORGET TO SIGN OUT OF ANY GOOGLE ACCOUNTS BEFORE YOU CONTINUE TO BROWSE. You can also be tracked this way.
They have purposely made it very hard to find the exclusion pages on their site (just like the Vogons in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy).

Opera has; a built-in Download manager (supports copy & paste), spell-check, translation, RSS, IRC, email, contact-book, note-book, voice-control and speech, content-blocking, cookie disabler, user-customisable search (I have 36 search-engines in Opera.), developer tools, and site validation. Built in Torrent and file-sharing access, built-in password manager, stackable/group-able tabs, built in backup mini-java, synchronisation between browsers on different PCs and phones, Hardware rendering and WebGL and ActiveX support.
It even saves you money, as for approximately a half hour of browsing with the "Turbo" switched on, I get on average 20MB savings on data I have not had to download.

Opera itself is customizable. You can tear apart the interface and put things where YOU want them. You can show or hide all the built in extras.
It can show you the embedded links hidden in a page, and let you display the page contents in a wide variety of ways). Unlike the other browsers you can set full individual security profiles on every site, instead of just 1 general security panel for the browser.
While you are reading, it will pre-cache a link you hover over, so when you actually click on it, the page is already there.
Depending on the site you are downloading files from, it will already be downloading your file while you are still choosing the folder you want to put it in, so you spend less time waiting for things to start.
It will even use custom CSS themes for sites, without needing an addon like Firefox (this is much faster).

IT IS THE ONLY W3C STANDARDS BROWSER ! :wth: (A site that works well in Opera, will work well in 100% ANY browser)
The new SPDY beta version (using now) supports googles new funky tricks.
Opera is one of the main consulting companies involved with the new CSS 3 standards.
Opera comes in a 64bit flavour.
It will also run as a portable app on a USB stick.

All that comes in a 12MB download.
:?: Ask your-selves "what can my browser do to make my life easier and save me time?"
When I am using IE, Chrome, or Safari I feel like I have been crippled. Firefox is the only serious competition, but only if you add all the above as plugins.
Hell I haven't even mentioned the massive Opera extensions catalogue!

Lots of people say "I don't need all of those things", but then they have never seen or used a commercial-grade browser, and just sit staring at Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
I say, "The internet is my bitch and works how I want, not the other way round"

I (and many like me) spend a lot of time hunting and reporting Phishing and malware sites, viruses and spyware, paedophile sites and users, I regularly "put my head in the lions mouth", so I cannot risk using a lesser browser (though I do have a few "specialist" browsers and tools I cannot openly talk about).
So if you are a very bad person on the net, I WILL find you and have you blocked, banned or arrested. My ban-hammer is mighty and can ruin your actual real life.
Recently they are becoming so desperate or stupid, that they also walk straight into my traps, for I also have the mouth of a lion :satan:
I'm one of the few people who is happy to get spam :ironic:
Would be nice to be paid for doing it, but it is a dirty job that has to be done. I'm no bounty-hunter, I am a perp-hunter

I guess now you guys all know why I am so good at finding things

(Dr.Flay does not work for Opera, and the views expressed here are his own)

That's the biggest thing that surprises me :noidea
Immediatly when I tried to upload an avatar (the same one as here), which probably was a bit too big (pixel-wize) and POOF a never-ending, non-reasoned ban (that's what the vbulletin message says). :mad2:

@GEx,
Did you try to contact the admin?

@Dr.Flay
if you don't like Chrome and google's data-kraken behaviour ...what about Iron ?

btw. Fire Fox is still great and even faster than Chrome for me. I am the man of "the thousand open taps".
