Okay, something wonky going on here...

Was on Unreal Mayhem's facebook page today when I noticed a post for an entirely new site. Now the original site · http://unrealmayhem.com · is still there, though it's been dead as Hell for months.

The new site, with forum attached, is this:
http://unrealmayhem.com/test/index.php

Says "test" in the URL but it looks like it's been active for awhile.

UPDATE
Got a response on that. Apparently the old site/forum "broke" somehow, at some unspecified point.

It would've been nice to know that whenever it happened!

hi guys had some family issues still have so i closed the other forum i know people dont use forums as much anymore but i have started ours up again mainly so people can come and play on server and get files and info they need just something to keep my mind busy at this time

Unusual format.

Spambots are getting clever.

Over on http://www.unrealkillers.com/forum.php they're not making new threads, they're adding replies to existing threads.

On recent maps & skins posts I've made there been getting less than subtle spam replies.

To be honest, this is intended. Someone made a spambot, got in on the forum passing the verification manually and then let the bot use the account.
Then, that bot was replying to Higor's thread. It was like bumping his thread for some unknown stupid reason. LOL
So, then I think the same dude or another done the same thing. There has been some that got deleted/banned but eh, they still try to come back.

The forum slowly became quiet after some people started to use Discord. It's not entirely a full switch to Discord though, cuz anything can happen to the host (Discord) and may have to switch back in the future.

Cuz discord may become a pay-for-use platform. No one wanna deal with that anyway. It started out with no freemium or other stuff, only donation to the smoll staff they had. Now after they grew larger, they started to push out additional crap and people are paying for it for additional feature they wanted to use. Sigh. But thing changes, the forum don't. Yay!
