Probably, but sometimes they go down and never come back.

There's some forums I keep up with, from that constantly updated list at the start of this thread, that no one has posted to in months... except this one guy that posts screenshots a lot.

Nope, Hook had both forums active at the same time, plus most of the others I've listed here as dead were forums he'd taken over that all went kaput around the same week.
