HELP WITH INSTALLING MODS

Hi, i am new to this website and just started playing unreal tournament after along time because of a lost disc and i have some mods and mutators but when i put them in C:\Unreal Tournament\System they dont appear in the main game is there a program that i can use to install them to make them work properly or am i doing something wrong?

You don't put all the files in the system folder, only the .int and .u ones.

Mods come in 2 formats:
a: one .umod file
b: more files
If there is only one .umod file you'll have to double click on it and it will install istself.
If it doesn't install the I suggest using the
umod browser
If there are more files or one file that is not a .umod file you'll have to place them into the correct folder.
.utx files go into the Textures folder
.umx files go into the Music folder
.uax files go into the Sounds folder
.u .int .exe .ini .dll files go into the System folder

I need to know how to install new maps, because we play at work on a LAN. Do I download a map @ home and then install it on the designated server, or do I need to install it on each computer??????
