There's often lots going on over there, but for a monster lover like me this kinda stuck out:
[u227][ut] Resurgence · http://www.unrealsp.org/forums/viewtopi ... =22&t=3241
Summary:
Some customized versions of monsters we know:
Variations & newbies:
Something we'd all recognize but not expect:
Along with new customized weapons. Probably Single Player, but still looks very promising.
You can get the full details at the link above, though that forum got reformatted fairly recently and it's a bit slow to load.

And what about Lesser Dragons, and the Blood Hawk?AlCapowned wrote:It hasn't, yet. The models and animations are in-game, but I still need to code them and add their blood effects and sounds. Everything else in my post is done except for tweaks.EvilGrins wrote: There are Izarians in UT now?!?
When did that happen??
I hope that will be convert to UT99, would be really good!

No need. That's what [u227][ut] means, it's being made for unreal1 & ut99.ASLYE702 wrote:And what about Lesser Dragons, and the Blood Hawk?

If you read the link, that Blood Hawk was something that was degiened for u1 but never completed... except now it's not only being completed but it's being given updated anaimations too.
Thought of that but from what I see of that development project, I think the lesser dragon is a smaller version of the u97dragon.
Kinda like there's Brutes & Lesser Brutes.
Give this a try · http://unreal-games.livejournal.com/68005.htmlASLYE702 wrote:Thanks medor, I don't see that!
The u97dragons don't work so well with online play, something futzy with the projectile, but they're great for home games.

Re: What's cooking at UnrealSP.org
Hi, it's nice to see interest here. A few things:
1. Yeah, the pack is planned for UT v436 as well as Unreal v227.
2. Some of the beta content that's already out isn't the same as what's in the pack. The krall from my betakrall.u package fight exactly the same way as regular krall, but the krall in Resurgence have a few tricks to spice things up. Out of content that's already been released, the lamprey/slithling is pretty much the only thing that's the same.
3. The lesser dragon isn't related to Master_Unreal's u97dragon. The model, animations, sounds, and code are all different (I think the real similarity is the skin, and that's it). It was named so as not to conflict with Turboman's dragon from Firestorm, which looks a lot bigger from the trailers.

That's cool, I calmed down this will be usable pawns in UT99
Yes I'm really interest, I like to customize and set up the pawns to Monster Hunt
And I'm glad to see somebody making some new pawns, so thanks for your work AlCapowned
EvilGrins, What do you mean with the projectiles? Buggy or doesn't work? Do you tried with an other projectile?

Thanks! I added information for a stingray-like enemy in the creatures post.

Download the map, and check the other link.ASLYE702 wrote:EvilGrins, What do you mean with the projectiles? Buggy or doesn't work? Do you tried with an other projectile?
Normally in practice mode they work fine. A little too well, as you'll see if you play that map... but online they just hover in the air and stay there. It's weird.
