Postal 2 Weapons ?

I downloaded some Postal 2 weapons, what medor show for me. That's the website.
"Postal2 weapons and pawns ported by Mentalhunter (227+/UT)
You will need to download multiple files to get a mod to work they are cross linked.
He unreasonably asked that you do not redistubute these files on other sites."


(227+/UT)...! So it's compatible with UT, but don't work's a lot weapon.
I test it and only works 3 weapon. Somebody any idea? Anyway I post to the GuestBook my problem, hope I will have answer.

Ah, that explains a few things: it's compatible with UT, and therefore it is compatible with the 333nw master server.

If you want to finish the pack contact then author MentalHunter. Bob just collected the files.
(note what is quoted in the OP "He unreasonably asked that you do not redistubute these files on other sites."
As creator of the code, that is his prerogative. There is nothing "unreasonable" with not wanting to crash peoples Games or PCs.
The stuff that was fit for beta he personally released in this thread, but the alphas leaked out.

Well I 've previously discussed this pack with Papercoffee.
I spoke to MentalHunter/Hyper a while back.
He is pissed that people re-host (as quoted), but since he dropped it he "washed his hands of it".
Just put a note in red near the top that all of these will crash a server, and add the link to the original forum post containing his release.

I do happen to have the complete set (they are fun), but unless someone wants to finish them, I cannot help.

I had contact with the guys at http://www.runningwithscissors.com/ over my website name (gopostals versus their gopostal) and also usage of the postal babes mod idea for the dancers I did. The guys there are simply great, they are fans of gameplay, and they encourage the modding scene. Someone ought to request permission from them to use these before you get going too much. They were good to me and we ought to preserve that openness by asking if this is OK.

Sorry papercoffe! Just there is one problem I don't have internet and I only have really slow WiFi connection so I can't download files.

Right now the first file what is missing is UnrealShare.Pock package, it's from Unreal 1.
I find out how I can look for the missing files, I put in to my map the WeaponLocker from XPickups and when I start the game show me what package missing.
And I believe if I have every file it's working perfect. The Chainsaw, Shovel, and Shears are working perfect. This weapons don't missing files. That's all! :D

The Postal weapons cast to a different engine build so you are going to have issues like this. It's not going to be easy at all to port those weapons and it's going to require a lot of work for each one. That's why no one has done them yet.

Yeah I get it, I resign only work 3 weapon. That's better than nothing! :)
