This is for posting your BEST rendered shots from your UT game. Please post screens in the highest resolution possible and DO NOT wrap them with image tags! Instead just give us a link to them. OK, now I'll post some eye-candy from my game, Agony, Stalwart, Tutorial, Skaarj Storage, and Twister 2 in particular look amazing:

I got one for ya and you do the math.
On my Redeemer server games are played to a score of 30 points.
One point is awarded per kill but I also award two points for telefragging.
First one to 30 wins...simple
So for example if you're at 29 points and you telefrag someone you can actually win with 31 points.
So render me this Batman...how can you get a score of 32 points?

Here's one I took during a bot match. There's a lot of intense action UTRP and lil' tweaker are visible on here. I was using photobucket at the time that I uploaded this so it's only at a 1024 X 768.

Why is this posting needed?

U can play better if Grafix are as low as possible!

screenshots are nice, but un-useable.

Am I wrong?

Yes and no. It depends what you prefer. I have amped my graphics as high as I can get and my skill and gameplay hasn't suffered because of this, rather it's more pleasant now. I know people who like to play with lowest settings to get best frames or remove so called "unnecessary visual clutter", but this isn't UT what I like, I like best visuals with best gameplay.

Most of the players are casualplayers, and those (normally) prefer to play on best Graphix, for most fun with the game. So you can't say "Damnit, why the Details? WE NEED FRAMES!!!"

Then it comes down to hardware. Todays modern computers should be able to play UT with max detail without slowdowns so I don't see this as a primary reason to turn down visuals. If player WANTS low details and he thinks it will improve his skill then he has free choice to do this.

With the latest renderers it is possible to play on nearly every Computer which is not 8 Years old. The difference between highest and lowest settings in the game are near 0 like in the Screenshot(s).

You know, the visuals also depend on map basis and IMHO the difference between lowest and highest detail is quite noticeable if you - for example compare those shots below. I'm using Direct3D9 renderer.

Uhhm.. I think you didn't understand me. I didn't talk about the visuals, I talked about the performance. If you use lower Settings... yes, there is a big optical difference. But that's not what bombenpaule talked about. He wrote

I said that the performance isnt much better if you lower your settings, not the optical part.

Performance also depens how you're configured your game and how visual-intense/geometry-complex map is. You could get minial performance increase on some maps while gaining a lot on other levels.
