UT_CD2
my original is beat to hell, anyone know where I can get a new copy or an ISO of the second CD? If you want proof of ownership i can get you a pic, with my username, of the CDs. NO I am NOT trying to steal the game I actually own it and I'm actually trying to get it to work, again.
Re: UT_CD2
The second CD doesn't worth the trouble. It only contains Bonus packs 1-2-3, an outdated version of UT Chaos mod, some high-resolution textures. All these can be downloaded. Just look around this website and you'll find them.

Hi dcorwin822!
If you're looking for high resolution UT textures then you can download updated versions from here:

Legally you can download a ROM if you have an original copy of where it came from, but it's not worth the trouble. The versions of Rocket Arena, Chaos UT, and the low-res (low-res for today's standards) high-res textures are all dated. Here I'll link you to where you need to go.dcorwin822 wrote:my original is beat to hell, anyone know where I can get a new copy or an ISO of the second CD? For textures look at the post above mine. If you REALLY want the CD2 textures, you'll just have wait for UnrealTexture to be restored, since I'm too lazy to look for them :P

If anybody for some strange reason (go with UTRP instead) wants the textures from CD2 you can download them here: http://www.unrealtexture.com/UT/Website ... esEpic.htm

And you gotta do all this rendering work, you can't just paste em over your old textures eh
Its worth it though. If I installed these packs, then I couldn't run a server? Or everyone who joined would have to download all these textures? Also, do I need a seperate file called S3TC or something, because it says you need S3TC enabled, and I don't have that?
If I just hosted LAN servers, could I use these textures?

Re: UT_CD2
S3TC is an option in Direct3D 8, Direct3D 9, and OpenGL 3.4 renderers. You'll have to download one of those and enable S3TC on them if you want to use CD 2 or UTRP textures. If you didn't mod your game too much graphically I would just recommend following the guide since I included all of the download links to what you need and posted the settings you'll want to use. Also, S3TC textures are NOT supposed to be used for running servers or making maps.italianstal1ion wrote:Whoa, those look a ton better. I think I will be installing those.
